Pharmacy Confidiential - "Secrets" Revealed

On November 8, I posted the last picture in this group, as part of a blog about a few of the unusual things I had found in Korea, compared to the United States.
Over the last couple of months, I kept forgetting to ask my pharmacist how she got the pills in those little, connected bags. Saturday, I got to check it out.
The only manual part of the process is that the pills are placed in a compartment, representing each day of the month. Once that happens, the tray begins to "click" around and at the counter, the bottom drops out of the compartment, with the pills falling down into each individual bag.

Then, after being hermetically sealed, boom! the 30 day supply begins to "click"(again) out and a roll of pill packets is given to the customer. Disclaimer: These are not my pills shown in this picture. That's a few too many for me in one day (so far).

Ok, so I'm originally from Kansas, and I know it shows in some of the stuff I find fascinating around here, but what can I say? I did live in Illinois and Arizona, so, doesn't that account for something? Sometimes after talking politics to my English conversation adults each day, I need to digress to the mundane around here.

Weather: Sunny and improving!
Health: Good!
Spirits: Never better!
Requests: Please keep my friends, Kim and Art in your prayers. They are struggling to adopt a little girl through the State of Arizona. Her name's McKinsie.
