More Korean Dogs I Have Known

This guy I met right after he was born. I wish I had a before and after picture of him. He has grown like a weed! His daytime house is beside his mother and father's laundry, near the Jeonju Market. His little puppy teeth have "done in" several pairs of my winter gloves.

This little girl lives, during the day, in her mother and father's flooring store, beside my school. Her name sounds like "Tourie". When we first met, she could only growl at me. This was really hard, because I saw her everyday. Eventually it dawned on me that dog treats might pave the way to friendship. And sure enough, I now carry a little bag of doggie vegetable treats in my bag. Growling has turned to dog-tail wagging. Great for my ego!

And, this is the "purse dog" from one of the markets in Seoul. I heard her before I saw her. She was giving quick little barks many, many rows over from where I was shopping. It took a while, but I tracked her down, barking at the lady who owned her for a little dinner.
Weather: -2 C (30F)
Health: Good
Spirits: High, but nervous. Headed for the dentist.
