More Neighborhood Pictures

A few days ago, I met this gentleman and his dog close to one of my tiny neighborhood shops. This dog was "on fire" running circles around me and this man's two friends. The whole scene cracked me up! The only way to get a picture of this crazy dog was for the man to bend down to try to pick her. Not the most attractive picture of this little lady, but as soon as he touched her, she "played dead". Not certain that she would want to be remembered with this pose.

The man in the foreground of the second picture, along with his wife, owns the little store I referenced above. I have known both of them since my arrival. On this day, I caught my friend, and two of his friends, sitting in front of the store enjoying a warmer, sunny day. And yes, those are Hula Hoops (check that spelling-lol) in the background. I see those everyday and to the best of my ability, I have yet to figure out their purpose. Initially, I thought they might be to "protect" the front windows of the shop, as they are mounted on a low, small brick wall. Who knows! But a nice reminder of when I was little.

Just as with every picture I have posted of those in my neighborhood, I'll have a print made to give each of them. That tiny act has gone a long way in helping meet more and more people.
