More Pictures from Sunday

Just wanted to pass on a few more pictures from my Sunday with Annie. After visiting the temple grounds shown below, we headed for an arboretum nestled in the mountains.

Stopping at a viewing site to see this waterfall below, I turned around as Annie was offering me a small cup of her dark, coffee-looking liquid. I asked if it was coffee, but as I took it, I realized the cup was cold. (You have been reading here that I have eaten many things in Korea for which I have had no clue as to what it was,but never have I had anything to drink that was questionable.) Turned out that it was root (as in tree root) "something" water. Mmmm....will be checking root water off my list of Korean drinks I need to try. It seems that whenever I am offered anything that I am unable to tolerate, I am told "It's good for health".

This top picture is the closest I have come to a red maple tree in years. There were many scattered around the arboretum, but leaves were much smaller than those in the Midwest.

Hope that you all have had a great weekend!
