Just Another Day at the Dentist and OH! Those Typhoons!

Just another day at the dentist (not!). I had a small emergency this morning right before my 10AM adult class. So, Candy (famous TOP "Do Everything Lady") and I literally walked just down the street to the closest dental office. Believe me! This is not your normal US dental experience.

Candy filled out a 3X3 slip of paper for me and in less than 5 minutes, we were called into the examining area. I was examined by a young woman and then by the Dr. He spoke English, but Candy told me later that he was reluctant to speak with me because he realized that she too was fluent and was afraid to be judged. Too bad! He was a great guy. Anyway, I was "fixed" and we were out of there within 25 minutes door to door. OH, and for less than $15 US. My mind was blown at the speed and efficiency.

Add to that that over the weekend we had more rain due to Typhoon Nari and will have more due to Typhoon Nipra (check that spelling) coming at us from Japan and Taiwan for more rain until Saturday. Otherwise, our days have been glorious!

And further throw in being able to watch Monday Night Football again this morning (I know! weird!)and life is still great in Jeonju City. Hope you're finding your week off to a great start!
