It's A Good Start

I found this "recycling center" on my corner just now, walking home for lunch. It's really progressive for my neighborhood, but the stand and its net bags aren't as sophisticated as the prototype I saw a few months ago outside the government office building on my way down the hill. But, I'll take it!! And now, we have to get everyone to begin using it.

This week has turned out to be more than crazy. The school manager quit unexpectedly 2 weeks ago, just as our every two month testing cycle started and as the new school year began on March 3. It was stress-city this Monday as we had new students, kids changing times of their old classes due to their regular elementary or middle school classes changing, etc, etc. I'm trying to get as much sleep as I can, but it's a "challenge." And for the icing on the cake, I got another Saturday student for an hour and a half late in the afternoons.

The most fun news for the week is that I got my monthly email from the US Embassy in Seoul. One of the news notes was that there will be someone in Seoul from the IRS, conducting 10 minute in-person or phone appointments to answer questions for those US citizens working abroad. I have a phone appointment on the last day of the visit, so I was really grateful. With TurboTax, I should be all set, depending on what the person from the IRS tells me. Reading the IRS website has been a lost cause so far. Will have to look at it again before I talk to the rep.
