Life on Wheels in Jeonju

As you saw with my yogurt lady several postings down, life in Jeonju operates a lot on wheels. I took this picture of my mailman today with his red scooter and "carrying case" of mail and packages. He looks so cute in his uniform, and happy, huh? This is not the outside of my house, but a typical home in my neighborhood with the short columns and gate.

This second picture is of the leg (sorry about that) and business on wheels, of my key-maker man. I was walking around Geksa on Saturday and came across him. The cart was abandoned, but I tracked him down the street. After he duplicated my key, he hopped on the cycle and drove away. I loved it.

We have had several sunny, but crisp days and I have really kicked my homesickness! I had a patch of "down in the dumps", but feel much better in these last few days. We have finished testing at the school and I am planning another trip to Seoul. I am hoping to catch up with an email friend, whose husband is in the US military, stationed outside Seoul. She is visiting from New Mexico for the next three months. Hope your week has started well!
